In 2016, Facing Change: Documenting Detroit began a fellowship with 21 Detroit based photographers to give a glimpse into Detroit life. I had the pleasure of meeting Logan Sloan and documenting his life and friends. Struggling with Sickle-Cell Disease, Logan has not let it define him. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, he has dealt with many obstacles and struggled to find his way. Logan and his friends embrace life and the cards they have been dealt. This is a chapter of his story.
